What is the difference between sheers and curtains?
Sheers are lightweight fabrics that filter daylight and provide daytime privacy while keeping a room bright. Curtains and drapes use heavier fabrics that block light, insulate against heat and cold, and protect furnishings from fading. Many homes layer both.
What curtain heading styles do you offer?
We offer traditional double-pinch and triple-pinch pleat headings, as well as modern styles including reverse box pleat and wave-fold (S-fold) tracking systems.
Are your curtain fabrics easy to care for?
Modern curtain and sheer fabrics are far more practical than they used to be — many ranges are stain resistant, machine washable and iron-free. We'll advise on care for the specific fabric you choose.
Do you offer a free measure and quote on the Gold Coast?
Yes. Sheerview offers a free in-home design consultation, measure and quote across the Gold Coast. We come to you with samples so you can see materials, colours and finishes in your own light before deciding.
How long does it take to get window furnishings made and installed?
